Character Rigger

Drop in your art Β· drag the eyes & mouth Β· test Β· copy the code

The engine draws its animated eyes & mouth where you place the handles, on top of your art. Use faceless art (the engine supplies the face), or tag your own parts with data-sbc="eyeL|eyeR|pupilL|pupilR|mouth|armL|armR|brL|brR|cheekL|cheekR". Tagged arms get green shoulder-pivot handles; test them with Wave/Shrug. Drag the gold dot to test gaze.

Export

Paste the inline HTML straight into a deck, or save the JSON and load it with data-char-src / SB_CHARACTERS. The JSON export keeps groups and rig tags (also parts you draw hidden with opacity="0", such as the open mouth, cheeks and brows: the engine shows those itself), bakes transforms into the coordinates and turns gradients into defs. The engine does not draw defs yet, so each gradient fill carries a fallback: the gradient's average color, transparency included. Validate it with python ~/.claude/skills/storyboard/validate_character.py my-character.json.
